Andrade recently won the United States title and received a lot of praise from Ric Flair
WWE legend Ric Flair had some incredible words for his soon-to-be son-in-law, Andrade.
Andrade has been on an incredible rise in recent weeks and won the United States title from Rey Mysterio at Madison Square Garden.
This was the former NXT champion’s first title since making the jump to the bigger brands. Zelina Vega has been at his side throughout his journey and helped him retain the title against Mysterio in the previous episode of Raw.
Andrade also recently got engaged to Charlotte, Flair’s daughter. The pair had been dating for nearly a year shared several pictures.
Flair claimed that Andrade is one of the top five performers in the WWE. The former champion went on to say that there was no doubt about the US champ was great.
El Idolo working hard in WWE
Although some found Flair’s comments to be a little biased given his closeness to Andrade, there is no denying that the US champion has always entertained in the ring.
Andrade is a great worker and his matches against Mysterio have been top-notch. With Vega beside him, the US champ looks incredible and the pair should continue working together for a while.
Should Andrade keep doing this well, he could get a run in some of the bigger matches. The former NXT champion also seems to have had an effect on Charlotte.
The former women’s champion wasn’t in the best of runs, but she seems to be back to her best in recent weeks.
Charlotte will be part of the Women’s Royal Rumble too and recent demolished Sarah Logan. It will be interesting to see how things develop for The Queen and El Idolo in the coming weeks.
