Red Bull were the latest team to share their 2020 livery ahead of the car launch and fans were left disappointed
The F1 season starts in around a month but several teams, including Red Bull, have revealed their cars or liveries ahead of the 2020 season.
Red Bull were the latest to reveal their 2020 car and livery, and it fell a little flat, to be honest.
They have one of the most exciting drivers in Max Verstappen and took the fight to the big two, Mercedes and Ferrari, in 2019.
Verstappen finished third in the driver’s championship too and there are high hopes for a better performance in the 2020 F1 season.
While liveries don’t have to be completely radical from their previous designs, a subtle change here or there can make a difference.
Verstappen recently showed a few changes he made on his 2020 helmet, but it seems his team hasn’t taken that sort of route.
The RB16 looks exactly the same as the previous car and safe to say, the fans weren’t too impressed.
Liveries are made to last 😉

It’s so boring isn’t it. Time for a major refresh in my opinion

A few fans made the point that a car’s livery isn’t important as long as it is past, but Red Bull have pulled off a few stunts in the past.
People worry about liveries too much, all that matters is that the car is fast and can compete with Mercedes

Camouflage livery
There have been a few instances where Red Bull decided to mix things up and went with a camouflage livery during tests.
This was to ensure that other teams weren’t able to understand the flow and lines of the car, but the scheme actually looked good.
However, that doesn’t seem to be the case this time around as Red Bull have stuck with their tried and tested formula.
Ferrari and Mercedes have also played it safe with their liveries so far and only a few teams are left to share their colour schemes for the 2020 campaign.
