The weather is an important part in any part of the United Kingdom and now Silverstone is set to welcome F1 for the 2021 British GP.

This is also the first race where the F1 Sprint Race is going to determine the grid for Sunday’s race. The new format is going to be tested at three events in the 2021 season, beginning with the British GP.

For Silverstone Circuit in this week, the average daytime maximum temperature will be around 23°C, with a high for the week of 28°C expected on race day. The average minimum temperature will be 13°C, dipping to its lowest today at 10°C.

Rain does not seem to be on the horizon at the moment, but things could always change in the British country side.

The 2021 Formula 1 season takes us to the Northamptonshire countryside for the home race of seven of the 10 teams on the grid, and three of the current drivers – Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and George Russell.

Will Lewis Hamilton “Bring it Home” ?

Lewis Hamilton is the winner of the last edition of the British GP. His win in 2020 came in extraordinary fashion, bringing the car past the finish line on three tyres. The incredible win in his home race was part of the tally that won him a record-equaling seventh World Championship.

Hamilton has accumulated 150 points this season

This time around, he has his work cut out as he has a significant margin to recover from. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen holds a 32 point lead over the Brit. Hamilton has had a poor run after his impressive start to the campaign. He will seek inspiration from his record 7 victories at his home circuit to reduce the deficit over the Dutchman.
