Can Max Verstappen extend his lead at the top?
The title race has not been as tight as this year’s in the recent past. Every race weekend is witnessing some sort of of change in the driver’s standings. Max Verstappen is currently leading the standings and has a six points cushion over Lewis Hamilton.
Verstappen finished second at the Turkish GP whereas Hamilton finished fifth which saw the Dutch driver regain the number one spot, in a race which saw Hamilton’s teammate Valtteri Bottas win.
Verstappen will try to do his best to stop the Mercedes driver from winning his eight world title at the end of this season. The upcoming United States GP will play a crucial role for both Hamilton and Verstappen as they both try to get ahead of each other with a victory this weekend.
If Hamilton manages to win the United States GP, he will mark his 101th career race win more than any racer ever in the history of the sport. The fans can sit back and certainly enjoy the title race between Hamilton and Verstappen as it comes down to the business end of the season.
