Israel Adesanya has been adding up the sponsorship deals and Stake.com became the latest one
Israel Adesanya is known for breaking grounds in MMA and did so with his sponsorship deal with Stake.com.
Stake.com is a cryptocurrency based sports betting and casino site, which in itself is a game changer.
Adesanya, for his part, is considered as one of the greatest MMA stars of all-time and recently signed up as an ambassador for the organisation.
Stake also posted a video which claimed that this was the first crypto MMA sponsorship deal. Adesanya also posted a video of the same and this comes hot on the heels of his deal with Puma too.
Adesanya had become the first MMA star to grab a deal with Puma. And it is safe to say that this is also a first in the MMA circles.
It is to be seen how many more deals Adesanya has but the Stylebender certainly is a star that brands should be looking to sign up.
Adesanya vs Blachowicz
The big Light Heavyweight title shot against Blachowicz takes place later this year. The fight will happen at UFC 259 and is scheduled for 6 March.
Adesanya comes into this clash undefeated in his MMA career. He last defeated Paulo Costa and wanted a new challenge.
Blachowicz defeated Dominick Reyes to get the vacant belt. This is going to be the Polish star’s first title defence.
However, the Pole also welcomed his son during this time and it will be interesting to see how this goes.
Many MMA stars, including Michael Chiesa, have backed Adesanya to get the title. This is a real test for the Stylebender but he could create history and become the latest two-division champion in the UFC.
