Jeep J20
A heavy duty truck that dominated in the early 80s. Jeep J20 was equipped with V8 and Inline-6 engines with an overall top speed of 100mph. The towing pull was massive, powered by Heavy-duty axles, power steering, automatic transmission, Quadra-Trac, and leaf spring suspension. During the launch time, the Jeep J20 was listed for $4,000 USD. Although it was expensive, the truck did good sales for its endurance and towing pull. It was a boxy vehicle with a long wheelbase, large front grille, and wide stance. The off-road pull of the truck was excellent, powered by the mechanics.
Ford F-100
Hailed as one of the greatest trucks, the Ford F-100 was part of the F series. It was available with RWD, inline-6, and V8 engines. Ford F-100 trucks were sold between $1,700 USD to $5,000 USD. It is available in some collector markets. The price of the original Ford F-100 trucks could well be above $100,000.
