We have also seen an array of athletes, who day in and day out challenges all the limits of existing physical boundaries.

In NBA, we witness great basketball players whose gameplay leaves behind an enormous legacy. Some of these legacies are quite untouchable. Similarly, apart from their game, some NBA players are known for their other records.

It can be said that most NBA players are physical freaks. Some have giant hands, some have large wingspans, while some have incredible vertical leaps. In this list of seemingly impossible physical features, the existence of giant feet of players is also included.

5. Kevin Durant

Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is not just a two-time NBA champion while playing for Golden State Warriors. Along with his incredible basketball skills, 6 ft 10 inches Durant is also pretty well known for his massive feet size.

Nicknamed as ‘The Slim Reaper’, 33-year-old KD is known for rocking a massive shoe size of 18. A size 18 feet is quite rare to come by and one can only imagine KD’s huge feet by referring to his sneaker size.

4. Yao Ming

The basketball wonder from China is now a Hall of Famer. During his time in the NBA, Ming was well known for his Houston Rockets days. Ming averaged 19 points, 1.9 blocks and 9.2 rebounds over his NBA career.

The Center from Houston Rockets is a giant, standing at 7 feet 6 inches tall. Given Ming’s height, it can be well assured that he will have massive feet. Yao Ming is said to wear size 18 shoes.

Nevertheless, these gigantic feet of Ming’s were not a blessing for Ming’s basketball career. Due to his feet size and overall height, Ming suffered prolonged injuries for most of his NBA career.

The legend of Bob Lanier is widespread in the NBA. Unfortunately, on May 10, 2022 (aged 73) Lanier died. He retired from the NBA in 1984. Further, for his contribution to the game of basketball, Lanier is also inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Lanier played Center and averaged 20.1 points, 1.5 blocks, and 10.1 rebounds per game over his 15-year NBA career. Apart from playing great basketball, Lanier is also known to have huge feet.

It is said that Lanier used to wear size 22 shoes.

It is quite guessable that the great Shaq will definitely be on this list. The Big Diesel was a bully on the basketball court and we all know the dominance of Shaq. Standing 7 foot 1 inch tall, Shaq O’Neal played 19 NBA seasons and averaged 23.7 points, 2.3 blocks, and 10.9 rebounds per game. He is also inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Big Shaq is known to wear size 22 shoes. It can be assumed that Size 22 shoes are around double the size of an average American male’s foot size. That’s some big size for any human being!
