4) Urijah Faber vs Francisco Rivera

This has to be one of the biggest eye pokes in the history of the UFC. Urijah Faber, a UFC great, was taking on Francisco Rivera and was probably losing the fight.

However, he decided to bring out the eye poke. The referee missed this blatant and illegal move at UFC 181 and Rivera went down right after.

Faber locked in a submission win and Rivera had to undergo surgery to deal with the injury. Things were never same for him after the loss and even though his team appealed the decision, the loss stayed.

Faber confirmed the eye poke happened and wasn’t happy how the fight ended, but that’s a story for another day.
