5) Travis Browne vs Matt Mitrione
This has got to be one of the worst eye pokes in the history of the sport. Browne and Matt Mitrione met at Fight Night 81 and it was Browne who got the win.
However, Browne used multiple eye pokes throughout the clash and even targeted the eyes with a few punches of his own.
Mitrione suffered a broken orbital bone and had to undergo surgery. His team also appealed the decision due to the eye pokes but that fell on deaf ears.
It is a bit of a miracle that Mitrione came back for more after all this. He is now fighting in Bellator but such eye pokes are possibly career enders.
