The Royal Rumble is one of the biggest PPVs in the WWE calendar
Before WrestleMania fever hits the WWE Universe, the Royal Rumble gets everyone excited ahead of the biggest show in professional wrestling.
The Rumble features one of the best gimmick-based matches with one player standing tall after eliminating 29 other men.
Royal Rumble matches often end up lasting for over an hour and a handful have even gone the entire distance winning it from either the first or second starting spots.
The Rumble has been going on for close to 30 years and there are some records that might be unbeatable.
One which could be unbeatable is having the most eliminations in the history of the competition.
Here are the 5 wrestlers with the most Royal Rumble eliminations
Triple H – 33
The Game might not be seen wrestling much these days after moving up the corporate ladder in WWE, but he still holds a pretty decent number of eliminations in the Royal Rumble.
Triple H has been part of nine Rumbles so far and has won two of them, not a bad record to have.
The Cerebral Assassin has also been a runner-up twice in the Rumble too.
Stone Cold Steve Austin – 36
The Rattlesnake comes fourth on the list with 36 eliminations but it could have been a lot more.
Stone Cold Steve Austin remains one of the greatest to have graced the business, unfortunately, his career had to come to an end because of knee and neck issues.
Austin still holds the record of winning the most Royal Rumbles, with three to his name. The Texas Rattlesnake still makes one or two appearances in the WWE but is mostly hosting podcasts with the promotion.
The Undertaker – 40
Possibly the greatest WrestleMania performer in the history of the company, the Undertaker also holds a great record of eliminating men from the Royal Rumble.
The Deadman has just one Rumble win to his name, but that shouldn’t throw shade at his legacy.
Shawn Michaels – 40
Shawn Michaels might not have been the biggest man in any Rumble match, but Mr WrestleMania certainly was able to knock people out.
Michaels also has two Rumble wins to his name (1996,1996) and has been a runner-up twice too.
The Heartbreak Kid also has 12 Royal Rumble appearances in his career and also eliminated eight men in both his victorious runs.
Kane – 44
The Big Red Monster/Machine is another legend who has a great record in the Royal Rumble.
Kane has eliminated 44 men across 19 Royal Rumbles, and he also had the record for most eliminations in a Rumble too.
Roman Reigns currently holds the record for a Royal Rumble with 12 (2014) while Braun Strowman holds the record for the Greatest Royal Rumble with 13 (2018).
