A Plague Tale: Innocence was a title that took everyone by surprise when it was first released. This is accredited to the amount of success the game saw upon release. Now, Asobo Studio is back with a sequel to the title and fans are more hyped than ever to get their hands on the title.
The game series follows the story of Amicia de Rune and her brother Hugo as they travel through 14th century France. A stealth action title, A Plague Tale is a series that has kept many fans on the edge of their seats.

Everything we know about A Plague Tale: Requiem so far
A Plague Tale: Innocence followed Amicia de Rune and her brother Hugo in 14th century France. The story showed glimpses of the plague and got pretty dark soon enough.
The story of A Plague Tale: Requiem takes place about six months after the events in the first title, and follows Amicia, Hugo, their mother Beatrice and Lucas, a young alchemist, as they set out to find a cure for Hugo’s blood illness. Contrary to the dark nature of the story, the title will be set in the lush, beautiful regions of Southern France.
A Plague Tale: Requiem was first teased back in June 2021 during E3, where fans got a glimpse of the first trailer for the game.
While not much was revealed about the game during the trailer release, fans were let in on the information that it would be a 2022 release. Now, Asobo Studio has announced that A Plague Tale: Requiem will release on October 18, 2022.
Focus Entertainment also released the gameplay overview trailer of the title a few days back, and fans have been more hyped than ever.
A Plague Tale: Requiem Release Date
Back in June 2021, Requiem was revealed to be an Xbox Game Pass title, meaning players can enjoy the title on the Xbox Series S and X. However, it is not an Xbox-exclusive title. A Plague Tale: Requiem will be available for play on PS5, Switch, Xbox, and PC as well.
In terms of genre, A Plague Tale: Requiem can be labeled as a classic action-adventure title, which has its fair share of mystery, and action-filled moments. However, the story of the game essentially follows the journey of a family in search of a cure for Hugo’s blood illness.
