According to a report from the Daily Mirror, Bournemouth star Ryan Fraser is high on Arsenal manager Unai Emery’s wishlist this summer.
The Scotland international, 25, has enjoyed a fantastic season with the Cherries, contributing with 7 goals and 10 assists across all competitions. He joined Bournemouth from Aberdeen back in 2013 when the club was in League One. Since then, the nippy winger has helped them achieve two promotions and has established them in the Premier League.
And Ryan Fraser’s performances this season haven’t gone unnoticed, with Arsenal interested in making a summer swoop for the 25-year-old, although they’ll face competition from their north London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, adds the report.
Unai Emery wants to sign a winger and a box-to-box midfielder as the Spanish tactician plans to build an Arsenal side capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.
But the Gunners will have limited funds to spend in the summer transfer window but they could boost that budget by qualifying for the Champions League.
Working hard for the attack and defence
As far as interest in Ryan Fraser goes, the Scotsman has indeed impressed this season at the Vitality Stadium. He is pacey, dynamic, hard-working and tenacious as well as a technically-gifted player that can create and score goals in equal measure.
The pint-sized winger can light up the scene with his raw pace and creativity as well as change the course of the game in the blink of an eye.
Fraser is a clever operator, capable of picking out passes and breaking the lines with his passing. To go with his intelligent and solid passing range, he can make space for himself with dribbles and take-ons from the wing.
The former Aberdeen man works incredibly hard without the ball and is no slouch when it comes to performing the defensive duties.
Furthermore, the diminutive Scotsman is also versatile, capable of operating at left wing, left and right wing-back, second striker or as a left-sided midfielder.

Given the profile and his style of play, Fraser would be a brilliant fit in Emery’s system at Arsenal. At 25, he’ll enter the prime years of his career and the Gunners would be wise to go all out to sign him ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
With Fraser heavily linked with a summer switch to the Emirates, here are some reactions from the Arsenal fans.
