Pearce returned to WWE as a guest coach and trainer. Then he worked as a producer on WWE’s NXT Take Over. In 2015 May, he signed full time as a trainer at the WWE Performance Center and was soon promoted to a producer on the main roster at RAW.
In 2020, Adam became a WWE authoritative figure on both Raw and SmackDown. Pearce began a new storyline with Universal Champion Roman Reigns, where the latter went against Pearce’s decision and asked for a gauntlet match. However, Paul Heyman convinced the upper management also to put Pearce in the exact match.
Making this Pearce’s first match since 2014, Pearce was the final entrant of the game and faced Shinsuke Nakamura, Reigns, and his brothers interrupted the game to make sure that Pearce picked up the victory. He was about to face Reigns at Royal Rumble but was eventually replaced by Kevin Owens.
