Triple H announced Adam Pearce as the new Raw GM (general manager) on SmackDown
Adam Pearce has been a constant onscreen WWE figure for the past few years.
The former indie wrestler spent several years on other promotions but was part of WWF and WCW during the late 90s.
He returned to WWE in 2013 as a trainer and later became a producer. Pearce was then seen on TV as an authority figure on SmackDown, which was his role mostly over the past few years.
Pearce has been serving both Raw and SmackDown since 2020 but Triple H made a huge announcement regarding both the brands. The Game first confirmed that Pearce was going to be the new GM for Raw.
The former WWE star readily accepted the role and thanked Triple H. There was more to come from Triple H as he confirmed that former TNA star, Nick Aldis, will now be the General Manager of SmackDown.
Pearce also posted about this news from SmackDown, and he was pleased about this.
The GM positions on Raw and SmackDown have seen many top names take up the roles.
Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman William Regal, Theodore Long and many more have held GM positions in WWE across their brands.
Pearce has been one of the most hardworking stars in WWE over the years, and this seems to be a great role for him.
The new Raw GM took to Twitter (now known as X) to speak about his new position and also wish Aldis the best as SmackDown’s General Manager.
Pearce claimed that he was honoured to have held the position on SmackDown for four years and that was one of the biggest “blessings in his professional life.”
However, he added that everything has a “season.” He wished the best to Nick Aldis and hoped for the best for both brands.
There were several great messages on social media as Pearce was confirmed as the new Raw GM.
Things should be exciting on Raw and Pearce does have his hands full with a roster that is brimful of talent.
