AEW All Out 2020 Results and Grades: AEW had an action-packed event with 11 matches on the All Out card.
The main event saw Jon Moxley defend his title against MJF with his Paradigm Shift banned. The tag titles and women’s title were also on the line in the PPV.
However, we start off this AEW All Out results and grades piece with a couple of tag matches.
Janela vs Sepentico
This was one of the pre-show matches as Joey Janela took on Sepentico. Luther, who was with Sepentico, tried to interfere in the match but Sonny Kiss saved Janela.
It was Janela who got the win in the end as both stars used a ton of high risk moves.
Janela beats Sepentico
Grade B
This was a solid match if nothing else but the lack of a story was the major problem here.
Private Party vs Reynolds and Silver (Dark Order)
The second pre-show match saw the Dark Order send out Alex Reynolds and John Silver to take on Isaiah Kassidy and Marq Quen.
Both teams against put on show but it was Private Party who got the win.
Private Party beats Dark Order
Grade C
This match felt a little short but it still highlighted that all four men were quality and should deserve more matches in the future.
Tooth and Nail match
Big Swole took on Britt Baker in the first-ever Tooth and Nail match. It was Swole that picked up the win after putting Baker to sleep with anaesthesia and novocaine.
The question is … What accent was Reba trying to do? and also, who did she think she was foolin'?

Swole beats Baker
Grade B
This was a fun match but it had some spots that didn’t click. Nevertheless, the women did a great job and it will be interesting to see what is next.
Young Bucks vs Jurassic Express
The next match on the main card saw Nick and Matt Jackson, the Young Bucks, take on Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy.
The @YoungBucks with fast tags & even faster attacks! Can they defeat Jurassic Express tonight?

This was an excellent clash as all four men put on a show. Luchasaurus was at his best with some fantastic moves but it were the Bucks that got the win.
Bucks beat Express
Grade B
Another quality tag match by AEW and it will be interesting to see what is next for the Bucks. They should get a title shot in the future, especially after this win.
Casino Battle Royal
The 21-man Casino Battle Royal was next and this was as chaotic as expected. The men were split into four groups and with no rules, there were some dangerous spots.
Darby Allin was thrown into some tacks while Matt Sydal (Evan Bourne formerly of WWE) was the joker in the clash.

In the end, it was Lance Archer who got the win and a future shot at the AEW World title.

Archer wins
Grade A
This was another brilliant match on AEW, even though there were many risky spots. Archer certainly is a beast and it will be interesting to see when he gets his chance.
Hardy vs Guevara
This was a Broken Rules match and if Matt Hardy lost, he would have to leave AEW. There was a scary moment when Hardy hit the concrete with his head and the referee also made an X sign, which means that the wrestler is injured.

However, Hardy returned later to toss Sammy Guevara off the scaffold and pick up the win.
2020 really hasn't been a great year for @SammyGuevara.#BROKENRULESMATCH#AEWAllOut pic.twitter.com/21J4xaSSEC

Hardy beats Guevara
Grade C
The reason this match got a C grade was the risky spot from AEW. This has happened twice to Hardy in a short span and AEW has to take better care of their stars.
Shida vs Rosa
Hikaru Shida put the AEW Women’s title on the line as she took on Thunder Rosa.
Rosa had looked impressive since coming to AEW and gave Shida a run for the money. Rose had an answer for everything that Shida threw but it was the champion who retained the belt.

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) September 6, 2020
Shida beats Rosa
Grade B
Rose was more than a rival for Shida and it highlighted that AEW has another quality star in their ranks. AEW hasn’t always promoted their female talent well but they should do so with Shida doing a lot of great matches.
Eight-man tag team match
Matt Cardona, Scorpio Sky, Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall (Natural Nightmares) took on the Dark Order.

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) September 6, 2020
It were the faces who got the win over the Dark Order as Brodie Lee was left frustrated with Colt Cabana and his team.
Cardona, Sky and Nightmares win
Grade B
There was more to this match as Dustin got a crack at Lee’s TNT title match in the future. It was also great to see Lee upset over another loss and it will be interesting to see what is next for the Dark Order.
FTR vs Page and Omega
Kenny Omega and Adam Page defended their tag team titles against FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood).

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) September 6, 2020
There was friction between Omega and Page and that was shown in the end as FTR won the titles.
Omega walked out on Page, who couldn’t stand up after the clash as this was a tough and close battle.
FTR beats Page and Omega
Grade B
The match ended as expected as AEW had been suggesting a split is coming. FTR are the best tag team in AEW and it was great that they got the title.
Mimosa Mayhem Match
Chris Jericho took on Orange Cassidy in a Mimosa Mayhem Match next. Cassidy and Jericho used a lot of finishers on each other but no one could get the three count.

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) September 6, 2020
Orange Cassidy was able to get the win over Le Champion by sending him into the pool of Mimosa.
Cassidy beats Jericho
Grade C
The match just felt like something was missing but it was still fun to see the two go hammer and tongs at each other.
MJF vs Moxley
This was a crazy match as Moxley’s arm was targeted by MJF in hopes of latching a submission. The champion tried to use his finisher often but pulled out so as not to lose the title.
Both athletes are fighting with everything they have.
Who wants it more!#AEWAllOut pic.twitter.com/QIp2vnm3nD— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) September 6, 2020
Both stars also cheated a bit and it was Moxley who used his finisher to get the win when the referee was distracted.
Moxley beats MJF
Grade B
The match felt long for some reason when it should have been a cracker. The finish keeps MJF in the hunt as he shouldn’t have lost the match due to the Paradigm Shift being used.
