WWE and AEW Rumor Roundup for June 1, 2022, including WWE Women’s Tag Title, Bray Wyatt return, MJF and more!

These are all the latest AEW and WWE rumor roundup in pro-wrestling, which are currently afloat. So let’s have a look at all the rumor roundup from WWE and AEW.more!

1. Women’s Tag title tournament

Since Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on the WWE live, both the ladies have been vacated from their WWE Tag Team Championships and are suspended from the contract.

WWE planned to organize a tournament to find its new Tag Team Champions. However, Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that the women’s tag team title tournament is “dead”. WWE apparently had four teams planned for it, but it never got signed off on, and its status is completely up in the air now.

“That women’s tag team tournament is like dead now. Yeah, not a word. They had an idea for four women’s teams, whatever they end up being. It was pitched, but it was never signed off on as of like a week ago. Now, I have no idea what’s going on, it’s like not a word.” (H/T- Wrestling News. Co)

2. Bray Wyatt’s return

Since Wyatt took a break from pro wrestling, there have been a lot of speculations about whether Windham Rotunda will be making his return to WWE again? Or perhaps he will show up at AEW’s debut show in Los Angeles Wednesday night?

His several recent tweets have sparked major speculations about his return to pro wrestling. Firstly Rotunda changed his Twitter name from the previous red circle to WYATT 6, which fans took as a sign of his comeback at Hell in a Cell which is scheduled to be six days from the time of the name change. Although his handle remains @Windham6.

However, Rotunda bringing back WYATT to his Twitter name has given a ton of hope to WWE fans hoping for his comeback. He has changed his profile picture to an image that appears to be a moth flipped upside down with red scribbles drawn over its head. It resembles The Fiend’s face.

He posted another tweet stating that he’s over the pain and ready to take over.

Everything good that’s ever happened to me, first came a period horrible suffering. I never ask why, I just wait for the rough part to end. I was chosen for whatever reason. And I’ve got shit to do. It doesn’t hurt anymore, it burns. I’m ready now

Rotunda posted two more tweets where he expressed his anger for “irrelevant clowns”, making assumptions about his personal character and what led to his departure from WWE.

I’m tired of watching. Tired of hearing irrelevant clowns speculate how I’ll be perceived. Tired of hearing about my greed, my desire questioned. Wherever and whenever I decide to return, I’ll remind everyone why they know my name. Again. And again. Believe in me. #IFoundIt

Patience. It’s almost time

It will be interesting to see when he makes his comeback and for which promotions.
