The WWE, AEW Rumor Roundup for June 21, 2022, includes Laurinaitis on leave, Steph & Triple H, Bryan Danielson injury more!

These are the latest Rumor Roundup in pro-wrestling, which are currently afloat. So let’s look at the Rumor Roundup from WWE and AEW.

1. Laurinaitis on leave

John Laurinaitis, The Head of Talent Relations for WWE, has reportedly been placed on administrative leave due to ongoing investigations.

John is a head of Talent Relations in WWE (WWE)

WWE announced last week that the company had appointed a Special Committee of Board Members to investigate the alleged misconduct case against Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and top executive John Laurinaitis.

WWE sent a memo to talent after Raw informing them that “pending the conclusion of our Board of Directors’ internal investigation” into misconduct allegations against him & Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis has been placed on “administrative leave.” Laurinaitis was also not present at the recent SmackDown and RAW tapings.

According to PWInsider, the roster was informed that Bruce Prichard will serve as the interim head of talent relations. Prichard was formerly the Executive director for RAW and SmackDown.

2. Steph & Triple H

There have been several speculations that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s relationship is facing some tough times. McMahon has been seen without her wedding ring in recent months. Now, the now-Interim WWE CEO and Chairwoman are referred to as ‘Ms. McMahon’ instead of ‘Mrs’ in the press release announcing her appointment on Friday. It was noted that the rumours say that the two had separated.

Triple H and Stephanie are together since 2003

However, Wade Keller of PW Torch said that McMahon and Triple H are still together, and marital issues did not influence Stephanie’s decision to take that leave in May.

“I know when Hunter had his health problems, and then Stephanie stepped aside, there were, I don’t wanna say rumours because that’s overstating it. [There was] conjecture that maybe there were marital issues that they were dealing with. I’m told that’s just flat out not the case and that they are a team,” Keller said. (H/T WrestlingNews.co)

“Triple H works full time, he’s a talent scout, but Stephanie stepped away, and they reduced their hours. Hunter reduced his hours. As I’ve talked about, Hunter was just drinking iced coffees constantly when he was not a caffeine guy beforehand, just to keep up with his demands. So he scaled back to a more focused job with less stress after his health scare, but he is full-time with WWE, and Stephanie stepped away in part because of the age of their kids. And also just the idea that they have enough money, they want to appreciate life, and do some things outside of working for the company.”
