WWE’s first female referee, who claimed she was raped by former chairman Vince McMahon in the 1990s, revealed new details about the incident.
Rita Chatterton, who became a licensed wrestling referee in New York in 1984 and had previously accused McMahon of forcing himself on her in a limo in 1992. Her allegations were corroborated by former pro wrestler Leonard Inzitari in a new report by New York Magazine.
In the new Observer’s Daily Update, Dave Meltzer notes that neither WWE nor Jerry McDevitt has commented on the updated Vince McMahon rape allegation. Meltzer speculates that’s because the media hasn’t picked up the story, so it “doesn’t appear to be harmful to McMahon’s position right now.”
John Cena made his much-awaited return to WWE on Monday Night RAW this evening In Texas. It was the 20th-anniversary celebration of The Cenation. His return was welcomed by everyone in the building and multiple backstage bits throughout the show.

Jon Moxley has recently clarified his injury status following the comments he made after the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
In the main event of the crossover show, Moxley defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to become the interim AEW World Champion. However, as per Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, Jon Moxley was busted open “hardway” at Forbidden Door.
