These are all the latest AEW and WWE rumor roundup in pro-wrestling, which are currently afloat. So let’s have a look at all the rumor roundup from WWE and AEW.more!

1. Another Lacey Evans change

WWE has again changed their mind over having Lacey Evans on RAW for the in-ring return. According to PW Insider, WWE’s current plan for Lacey Evans is to drop the babyface gimmick planned for her on RAW.

Lacey Evans recently returned after a long gap

She will now be a heel that she’s been moved back to the SmackDown roster. Evans was in a year-long absence due to her pregnancy. Shen then returned in April 2022 on an episode of SmackDown.

However, the star has only made vignette appearances on both brands, where she talked about her challenging family life. She will be appearing on RAW going forward, but now it seems like the plan has changed.

2. MJF pipe bomb

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Many Wrestlers with AEW believe the MJF story has been a work “from the start”. “Some just played it off like wrestling and whatever, but others weren’t so happy about it.”

MJF is one of the best heels in the moment

Dave Meltzer even wrote that someone in the latter group “called it a sloppy work that in the long run will benefit nobody.”

This week on Dynamite saw AEW World Champion CM Punk come to the ring to confront MJF after the latter’s segment. The Salt of the Earth cut a promo where he didn’t hold back anything. He said that despite being one of the company’s top stars, he doesn’t get the respect that he deserves. He even blamed the fans as well.

He then shifted his focus to Tony Khan. He thrashed the AEW president for not paying him more money and signing former WWE superstars. Friedman ended the promo by asking Khan to fire him and called the CEO a “mark.”

3. Stephanie McMahon update

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Stephanie McMahon isn’t expected to return from her WWE absence. However, it has also been said that it will be a completely different role if he makes a comeback to WWE.

4. Hell in a cell

WWE Hell in a Cell is scheduled to take place this Sunday night, with the match card mostly comprising RAW superstars. Additionally, multiple SmackDown Champions will reportedly not defend their titles at the event.

According to WrestleVotes, the current Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos, won’t be competing at the event and neither Intercontinental Champion Ricochet. However, a report states that Madcap Moss could potentially be returning as Riddick Moss and will take on Happy Corbin at the show.

“As of the last check around 4 pm today, no Usos tag title or Ricochet IC title match will be added to the HIAC card. However, the good news is yet another Riddick Moss vs Happy Corbin match is scheduled to make the show.”

Another WWE source has told WrestleVotes that the lack of SmackDown matches on the Hell in a Cell card is “an indictment on the roster.”

“The lack of SmackDown matches currently advertised for this weekend’s Hell In A Cell event speaks volumes. It’s an indictment on the roster, a source says. While the “brand split” isn’t ending, for all intents and purposes, it’s shot.”

5. Warner Bros partnership with AEW

According to Andrew Zarian of Mat men, Warner Bros Discovery “are very AEW positive.. From everything I heard, the meeting was great. Tony Khan’s relationship is really strong with them. The company understands that they are in a unique position with this hot commodity.”
