WWE and AEW Rumor Roundup for March 16, 2022, including Cody Rhodes deal, Batista Hall of Fame induction, Kane and more!
These are all the latest rumor roundup in pro-wrestling, which are currently afloat. So let’s have a look at all the rumor roundup from WWE and AEW.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins is definitely the plan for WrestleMania 38. However, Ringside News has reported that Rhodes and WWE have been secretly going on about this top in the company.
There were a lot of references about Rhodes in this week’s Raw as Corey Graves mentioned how WrestleMania’s hopes had been “dashed” and “his dream has become a nightmare” These are all the obvious references to Rhodes. Who is also known as “The American Nightmare.”
A tenured member of the WWE has said that,
“he’s not being discussed with the writing team.” “whatever his deal is, it’s being kept ‘up above and secret’ for now.”
According to PWInsider, Batista will be in attendance for Undertaker’s Hall of Fame induction, which will happen one day before WrestleMania.
But Batista, who was supposed to get inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2020, might get his induction ceremony in Los Angeles next year.
PWInsider has also reported that “The Big Red Monster” Kane will also be present at WrestleMania. Kane had been an integral part of WWE both as a performing star and as an administrator.
This week on NXT, several main rosters made their appearance. It all started with The Miz hosting an extraordinary “Miz TV” where he was joined by recently turned NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler, which led to the main event where Ziggler defeated LA Knight.
Later in the show, Rey and Dominik Mysterio also showed up to confront Legado del Fantasma. It all started with a backstage confrontation but turned into a match between Dominik and Raul Mendoza. Finally, the game saw Rey taking out Santos Escobar at Ringside.
According to Wrestling Observer, we can expect Raw stars to come on NXT almost every week from now on. This might be some strategy that WWE might be looking to imply.
It was first reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Gargano’s wife Candice LeRae’s deal will be expiring on May 2022. Still, since she missed some time as LeRae was pregnant, she might be there for almost all of next year because that’s what WWE usually do when the star is out due to this reason.
But now Fightful Select has mentioned that Candice’s contract with WWE is still set to expire this spring and hasn’t been renewed or frozen.
