WWE unexpectedly changed the main event on Monday Night RAW after superstars Sasha Banks and Naomi left the arena last night before their main event match.
This morning, PWInsider revealed that the current WWE Women’s tag team champion walked out on Monday’s taping in Norfolk, Virginia, after having issues with their roles in a six-pack challenged match to determine the next challenger for Bianca Belair.
There have been several reports that Sasha Banks and Naomi were told before RAW by producer Molly Holly that WWE was going forward with plans for the six-pack challenge. Banks and Naomi informed WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis, that they were leaving, giving him the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The report echos WWE’s statement regarding the matter during Monday Night RAW last night.
Former WWE writer Kazeem Famuyide has said on The Masked Man Show that he heard Sasha Banks is also negotiating a new deal with WWE as her and Naomi’s contracts expire “within the next two months.”
Triple H has finally got back to WWE recently but with a change in his duties. According to Fightful Triple H, his current responsibilities are “categorically different” from before his heart operation.
The Game recently said that he is back at the WWE office after a near-death experience. He said he has never been diagnosed with cholesterol issues or high blood pressure. However, it has been known that he had an enlarged heart, and that’s quite common fr athletes.
Recently he did an interview with Stephen A’s World and revealed that He got sick after SummerSlam and initially believed it to be COVID. The Game said he is fully vaccinated and had previously tested positive for COVID but never developed symptoms. He discussed that it turned out to be viral pneumonia in the clip announcing his retirement. He now has a defibrillator surgically implanted in his chest, and he can’t wrestle again.
“My foot’s not off the gas. I suppose I’ve got to step back a little bit. I’m still in recovery, and my endurance is not precisely what it used to be before… “I’m back. I’m at the office. I’m fully focused on recruiting and developing our talent and the future. Whether that’s building more Performance Centers, finding the next young stud that’s out there — male or female… It’s creating that future. That’s the biggest focus for me. And as we move forward from there, it’s making sure that WWE is a success for generations to come.”
WWE originally planned a Six-pack Challenge for the main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw with Becky Lynch, Asuka, Doudrop, Nikki A.S.H., Naomi, and Sasha Banks wrestling to decide the following number one contender to Bianca Belair’s Raw women’s championship. However, Banks and Naomi walked out of the show before the main event as WWE went ahead with Lynch vs Asuka. The match’s finish saw Lynch get Belair involved in throwing Asuka into her on the outside. Still, Belair hopped the apron when Becky tried to use the distraction to cheer when Asuka spat the green mist in her face and scored the victory.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is trying to save a singles rematch between Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch for a significant pay-per-view (PPV) event. Unfortunately, hell in a Cell is not a major PPV, so Lynch did not win the number one contender spot earlier this week on Raw.
WWE released Parker “Harland” Bordeaux because “The company found something out about him and showed lack of improvement.
As per WON, Rick Flair and Wendy Barlow are back.
