AEW Dynamite Preview 22 April 2020: Will Darby Allin leave a mark in the TNT Championship?

Published by

AEW Dynamite Preview: The TNT Championships is starting to take place as last week, we saw Lance Archer made light work of Colt Cabana.

Shawn Spears also picked up a win while Bleeding Britt Baker was also seen in action.

This week, we will have more TNT Championship action and here is the preview for AEW Dynamite.

Allin goes all in?

Darby Allin has had a mixed time on AEW recently as he clashed with Cody Rhodes a while back.

He will be up against one of the other rising stars on AEW, Sammy Guevara, in a TNT Championship quarter-final.

Darby Allin is one of the best talents on AEW’s roster (AEW)

Guevara has been impressive since being part of the Inner Circle and this should be an interesting match-up to say the least.

The other Rhodes in action

Another star that has found a new lease on wrestling life is Dustin Rhodes. Formerly known as Goldust on WWE, Rhodes has been fantastic on AEW and will be in action in the TNT Championship.

He faces off against Kip Sabian, and this should be another interesting clash between the two.

Fall out from AEW Championship match?

Last week saw a brutal battle between Jon Moxley and Jake Hager for the AEW World title. While many expected Hager to take over the crown, it was Moxley that was able to keep the belt.

The match was a slobber knocker as both stars used a lot of weapons in the No Holds Barred match.

Moxley might have kept his crown, but there could be a new challenger waiting for him on this week’s show.

Shida and Baker rivalry continues?

Hikaru Shida might be the No.1 contender for Nyla Rose’s AEW Women’s crown, but she is having a great rivalry with Baker.

It was Baker that impressed last week with Shida watching from ring-side. The pair could meet up once again on this week’s Dynamite, and there could be fireworks from the pair.
