AEW Dynamite Preview: Matt Hardy was to face Sammy Guevara on AEW this week, but that was changed after some poor comments by Guevara that resurfaced recently.
Guevara shared some horrific comments on Sasha Banks nearly four years ago, but he spoke with Banks afterwards and has publicly apologised.
Guevara has been suspended by AEW and his place has been taken by Santana, and this is where we start this week’s AEW Dynamite Preview.
Santana faces which Hardy?
Hardy is known for his various alter-egos, and he showed that off in the Stadium Stampede match. However, the power to select which Hardy fights was given to the AEW fans.
They can still vote to pick out which version of Hardy faces Santana, and this is going to be one of the most interesting matches from this week’s show.

Women’s champion in action
Hikaru Shida, the AEW Women’s Champion, will also be in action on this week’s show. The Japanese star defeated Nyla Rose to win the title a few weeks back and has been exceptional on AEW since coming to the promotion.
She has beaten everything thrown in front of her, and she might have a new rival waiting in the wings.
Brodie Lee teams up with Colt Cabana
Colt Cabana has been teased as a new member of Brodie Lee’s Dark Order and the pair will team up.
However, they face one of the most eccentric tag teams in AEW presently. Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss have been impressive on AEW recently, and it will be interesting to see how things go in this clash.
Lumberjack match
Wardlow faces a real test as he takes on Luchasaurus. The two behemoths meeting in the ring is a big enough deal, however, this match has an added twist.
Lumberjacks will surround the ring for this battle, and things should get hairy for both competitors in the end.
Jon Moxley, the AEW Champion, is also expected to wrestle on the show. His rival for the title, Brian Cage, might have something to do too.
Cage and Moxley face off at Fyter Fest and both could land a blow before that meeting.
