AEW Dynamite Results and Grades: AEW Tag champions Adam Page and Kenny Omega were defending their titles against the Jurassic Express.
Hikaru Shida was also in action while Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy faced off in a singles clash.
However, we start off this AEW Dynamite results and grades piece with the Young Bucks in action.
A few Dark Order members first attacked the Bucks before they faced off against Evil Uno and Stu Grayson.
There was a lot of interference from the masked men but it was still the Bucks who got the win.
The Bucks beat the Dark Order
Grade B
This was a great match as all four men showed off their skills. However, it was interesting to see how much interference was there in this match.
Still, the Bucks got the win and that was the right way to go.
MJF was back in the AEW ring after his excellent promo from last week. He had another presentation set out and claimed that Jon Moxley was scared to be here.
MJF continued hitting out at Moxley and the champ finally came out. However, he was cut off by MJF’s guards.
That wasn’t enough as Moxley took another route and beat down MJF.
Grade A
MJF was at his best again and it was great to see Moxley take his rival down. However, what MJF said wasn’t anything new but it was still entertaining to see.
Cody Rhodes put up his TNT title on the line against Scorpio Sky. Cody and Sky exchanged a lot of moves early on, but it was the American Nightmare who got the win in the end.
Cody beats Sky
Grade B
Cody keeping the title was expected again and this was a decent enough match. However, Brodie Lee getting a crack at the TNT title next week should be great to see.
Jurassic Express started off well against the champions but Page and Omega started to take on Jungle Boy midway through the match.
Luchasaurus tried to get things going but it just didn’t work for the challengers. Omega and Page both hit their finishers on Boy for the win.
Page and Omega win
Grade B
This was another quality wrestling match on AEW but it is to be seen how long Page and Omega can stay together as a team.
Omega and Page have hinted at splitting up but that would mean they need to lose the titles first.
Heather Monroe took on AEW Women’s Champion Shida, and it was the champion who picked up the easy win via a submission.
Shida beats Monroe
Grade C
This was a relatively short match and frankly, AEW need to do more with their women stars. The champion needs a proper rival instead of such small matches to showcase her abilities.
This was a $7,000 match as Cassidy would have to pay up Jericho for ruining his jack in the past.
Mike Chioda was the referee for this match as he made the switch from WWE, and many Inner Circle members helped out Jericho in this clash.
Jake Hager took out Cassidy, but Freshly Squeezed got the surprise win by a roll-up on Jericho.
Cassidy beats Jericho
Grade B
Cassidy getting the win over Jericho was a bit of a surprise but this feud has been going along really well.
It will be interesting to see what else AEW has planned for this, but Jericho vs Cassidy might take place more in the coming weeks.
