AEW Dynamite Results and Grades: Dynamite promised some huge matches on this week’s show but had to cancel the six-man tag match teased last time around.
Eddie Kingston was to get a crack at Jon Moxley while Brodie Lee was also set to be in action as he kept hold of his TNT title.
There were some brilliant clashes on AEW Dynamite and here are the results and grades:
Miro in tag action
Newly signed star, Miro, was in tag action as he partnered Kip Sabian. The pair took on Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss.
What a devastating double team attack by @ToBeMiro & @TheKipSabian.

It was Sabian that started the match but Miro made the switch later on to put on his Game Over submission to force Kiss to tap out.
Miro and Sabian beat Kiss and Janela
Grade B
Miro being in a tag match was a fresh change and the match wasn’t bad. However, Janela and Kiss had been on a tear recently and them losing was a bit of a surprise.
Page vs Uno
Kenny Omega was on commentary as Adam Page took on Evil Uno with the Dark Order watching.
Uno dominated early on but it was Page who got the win in the end.
What a BIG pop up powerbomb by @theAdamPage!

Tony Schiavone then spoke with Matt Jackson and when he brought up FTR, Jackson broke Schiavone’s phone but gave him money to buy a new one.
DYNAMITE EXCLUSIVE
We guess the @YoungBucks don't want to talk about your #AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR @CashWheelerFTR & @DaxHarwood.

Page beats Uno
Grade B
This was an interesting match with both Uno and Page not on the best of terms with their team/partner.
Page getting the win was great for him but it also leads to questions about Uno in the Dark Order.
Lee vs Cassidy
Lee defended his title against Orange Cassidy next and the Dark Order distracted the challenger a lot.
Cassidy still made a comeback and hit a series of moves on the champion. However, it was Lee who got the win in the end with a Discus Lariat.

Cody Rhodes then made a return and attacked the Order while Lee walked away. The champion then challenged Cody to a Dog Collar match for next week.
The American Nightmare @CodyRhodes has returned!

Lee beats Cassidy
Grade B
Cassidy was the star of the show in all this despite taking the loss. He looked great and was a perfect foil for the hard-hitting Lee.
Cody vs Lee next week will be great too but Cassidy should deserve some sort of gold for his outstanding run on AEW.
Who attacked Hardy?
Matt Hardy was in the ring with Private Party and blamed Chris Jericho for it.
The Inner Circle, with Jericho, came out and Le Champion added he didn’t attack Hardy but was willing to hurt him in the ring.
Did @IsiahKassidy really just challenge @IAmJericho for next week?! #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/Qwnfosg4Px

Isaih Kassidy challenged Jericho next week and the Canadian accepted. Later on, MJF sought out Jericho and the pair shared mutual respect for each other.
Grade C
Hardy and Jericho on the microphone are normally great but this segment felt a little flat.
Also getting to see Hardy vs Jericho again would have been great for Kassidy vs Le Champion should be a banger of a match.
20-minute contests
FTR came out to the ring with Tully Blanchard and confirmed their 20-minute time limit matches.
Teams basically had to beat FTR in 20 minutes or the AEW champs would win. Their first rivals were SCU but Best Friends wanted their shot at the gold.
FTR told them to get 100% ready before getting a shot at the AEW Tag team titles.
Grade B
The 20-minute rule will be interesting to see as FTR should win matches quicker than that. SCU vs FTR should be entertaining but Best Friends deserve a crack at the gold soon.
Champions team up
AEW Women’s champion, Hikaru Shida, and NWA champion, Thunder Rose, teamed up to face Ivelisse and Diamante.
Hard shots are already being thrown in the opening moments of the Women's Tag Team match.

It were the champions who got the win as they looked great as a pair, despite some great work from Diamante and Ivelisse.
Shida and Rose beat Diamante and Ivelisse
Grade B
Shida and Rose looked good as a pair but that will break up since they should meet for the title soon.
Moxley vs Kingston
Kingston and Moxley went at it from the first second in a hard-hitting contest. Kingston has some shots at getting a shock win as he even evaded a Paradigm Shift, but Moxley had too much in him and got the win after submitting Kingston.
.@MadKing1981 isn't holding ANYTHING back in your main event for the AEW World Championship.

Fenix and Pentagon attacked Moxley while Will Hobbs and Darby Allin tried to make the save. Ricky Starks then helped out the heels as they celebrated.
Moxley beats Kingston
Grade B
Lance Archer was to feature but he caught Covid and was out of AEW. This allowed Kingston to step in and he did a great job.
He has worked well with the Lucha Bros too and it will be interesting to see what is next for him.
