AEW Dynamite results and grades: There were some surprises on last week’s AEW Dynamite with a new member for Taz’s team.
Top Flight also impressed on their AEW debut but we start off this week’s Dynamite results and grades piece with one of the big names in singles action.
Page vs Silver
The Dark Order’s John Silver battled Adam Page in the opening match. Silver mocked Page a few times in the match and was attacked by the former AEW tag champion.
The pair took turns at hitting each other before Page was able to put Silver down.
Could you imagine, @theAdamPage in the Dark Order? #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/AoIzQTTdnS

Page beats Silver
Grade B
Page was his normal self but Silver was the star of the match. It was interesting that the Dark Order tried to get Page into their faction and that could be the future for the former champ.
Powerhouse vs Johnson
Will Hobbs was given a new name by Taz after joining them as he would now be referred to as Powerhouse Hobbs.

The new member took on Lee Johnson and got an easy win. Taz the entered the ring and was irate why the FTW championship wasn’t recognised by AEW. Cody Rhodes tried to calm things down but things got heated.
Damn did @CodyRhodes take it too far by bringing up @OfficialTAZ's son? NAH #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/SIk8joB03M

Cody then asked why Taz’s son was working with him and not his father. Taz lost it and applied the Tazmission before his son carried the FTW title back.
Hobbs beats Johnson
Grade A
The match might not have been all that big but the part after that was brilliant. AEW gets many promos right and this was right up there with the best.
Top Flight vs The Hybrid 2
Jack Evans and Angelico (Hybrid 2) attacked Top Flight and they battled on Dynamite.

While Top Flight tried to continue their impressive start in AEW, they were beaten by The Hybrid.
The winners weren’t letting go of the break before The Young Bucks made the save for Top Flight.
Hybrid 2 beats Top Flight
Grade B
This might not have been the greatest tag match on AEW but the two teams did their best. Top Flight seem to have a bright future in the promotion and it will be interesting to see what is next for them.
SCU vs Hager and Jericho
Chris Jericho and Jake Hager teamed up to face Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian of the SCU.
Santana also caused interference but it was MJF who made the big impact. The newest member of the Inner Circle attacked Daniels which allowed Jericho to get the win.

Jericho and Hager beat SCU
Grade B
MJF made the big move and that is a story that AEW will continue for a while. The match itself was great and it will be interesting to see what is next for the Circle.
Second contract signing
Jon Moxley didn’t waste time this week as he attacked Kenny Omega ahead of their second contract signing.

— AEW on TV (@AEWonTV) November 26, 2020
Moxley was attacked by unknown people last week and Moxley claimed Omega paid someone to do the deed last week.
The champion went berserk and signed the contract in the end.

Grade A
Moxley was on the top of his game this week as he ensured he comes into Winter is Coming hot. He didn’t waste time in attacking Omega and this rivalry is becoming interesting.
AEW Women’s title match
Hikaru Shida defended her AEW title against Anna Jay and the challenger tried to take down the champ.
Jay also used a kendo stick when the referee was distracted. There was some friction between Jay and her best friend, Tay Conti too but it was Shida who got the win.

Abadon then appeared on the ramp which scared Shida and she seemed set for the next shot at the title.
Another sight burned into our nightmares @abadon_AEW #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/pwPM0PDcsz
— AEW on TV (@AEWonTV) November 26, 2020
Shida beats Jay
Grade B
It is interesting to see Abadon get a shot at the title after only a few appearances on AEW. Jay vs Conti should also be good and hopefully, we get more women storylines in AEW.
PAC and Rey Fenix team up
The Death Triangle was back as Rey Fenix and PAC battled the Butcher and Blade. Penta was also with PAC and Fenix for this match.

— AEW on TV (@AEWonTV) November 26, 2020
Eddie Kingston was watching the clash before interfering. The Bunny allowed Kingston to attack Fenix and that allowed Butcher and Blade to get the win.
Kingston then sent PAC through a chair before Lance Archer made the save and attacked anyone that came in his way.

— AEW on TV (@AEWonTV) November 26, 2020
Butcher and Blade beat Fenix and PAC
Grade B
Archer making the save was certainly great to see but this was an incredible performance from Butcher and Blade.
The Death Triangle coming back is great for AEW and they seem set to battle Kingston for a while.
