Blackpool Combat Club versus The Butcher, The Blade, and Angelico

The Butcher was quick to attack Jon Moxley. Angelico assaulted Bryan Danielson before the American Dragon fought back. After Wheeler Yuta got the tag in, the heels did well to isolate him in their corner of the ring.

Yuta took a lot of beating before executing a German suplex and making the tag to Moxley. He sent Blade outside the ring and into the timekeeper’s area and finally into the stairs. Moxley hit the Cutter on The Butcher. Blackpool Combat Club locked in their respective submission holds to get the victory.

Winner – Blackpool Combat Club

Wardlow versus William Morrissey

Morrissey was the surprise opponent that MJF had chosen for Wardlow this week. The two strong men tried to outpower each other. Morrissey was impressive as he showed his athleticism leapfrogging Wardlow and hitting a big boot and he sent him to the outside.

Morrissey launched Wardlow into the ring post and then slammed Mr. Mayhem into the ring apron repeatedly. Morrissey hit a perfect Boss Man Slam but it wasn’t enough to keep the former Pinnacle member down.

Wardlow managed to turn things around as he delivered a Powerbomb to pick up another victory.

Winner – Wardlow

Wardlow took out all the security members that MJF sent his way and said he will not stop until he gets his hands on MJF. Friedman said that he will give him the match but there are going to be conditions involved and he will reveal them during a contract signing that will happen in Long Island, New York, next week.

Hangman Page came out and told the fans that at Double Or Nothing, he is going to destroy CM Punk. He also promised to embarrass Punk and that it will be the fight of Punk’s life.

Santana versus Chris Jericho

Santana dived out of the ring to take out Y2J as the veteran was making his entrance. Jericho took a severe beatdown until he resorted to hiding behind Aubrey Edwards. However, Edwards moved away and Santana hit a pump kick.

Rey Fenix versus Dante Martin – Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Qualifier

Martin was quick to recover after initially being thrown outside the ring by Rey. Martin hit a tope suicida after dropping Rey to the mat. Fenix came back as he hit an innovative Russian leg sweep but Martin kicked out at two.

Towards the closing stages of the match, Fenix nailed a cutter but Martin fought back with a superkick. The two men went to the top rope and they tried a Spanish Fly but both landed on their feet.

Martin missed the Nose Dive and Fenix took advantage getting the victory to qualify.

Winner – Rey Fenix

Thunder Rosa came out to the ring and told her story of how she came to the company without any expectations and went on to become the AEW Women’s World Champion.

She expressed her desire to work with the best and named the wrestler she would drive around to watch and that was none other than Serena Deeb. Deeb is the No.1 contender for Rosa’s title and the match will take place at Double Or Nothing.

Deeb came out to the ring and said that they could make the women’s division in AEW, the best in the world. However, for that to happen, the best wrestler needed to be the champion.

She went on to add that Rosa will have the shortest reign in history as she is taking the title at Double Or Nothing.

Mercedes Martinez versus Deonna Purrazzo (c) – ROH Women’s Championship

Mercedes took control of the match after hitting a Spear on Purrazzo on the ring apron. The former WWE Superstar was all fired up as Purrazzo was rattled after receiving a series of punches and kicks.

The champion threw Martinez face-first into the ring post. Towards the closing stages of the match, Mercedes locked in the Dragon Sleeper and Purrazzo had no other option but to tap out.
