AEW Grand Slam Rampage 24 Sep 2021 results, winners and highlights: was Rampage as entertaining as Dynamite?
The AEW Grand Slam Rampage has some big shoes to fill after the 22nd September show of Grand Slam Dynamite. Though the event was not live as it was filmed right after Dynamite the fans around the world were eagerly waiting for this event.
This event was to mark CM Punk‘s first TV match in over seven years. The card was stacked from top to bottom including matches of Adam Cole, Jon Moxley and more.
This was technically the company’s second event airing from New York here are the AEW Grand Slam Rampage 24 Sep 2021 results, winners and highlights.
CM Punk vs Powerhouse Hobbs
The event was kicked off with CM Punk facing Powerhouse Hobbs. The arena was chanting CM Punk’s name as Hobbs also continued to whip him from corner to corner. Hobbs had control over the match in the beginning but Punk was able to come back stronger. Punk hit Hobbs with his finisher the GTS to win by pinfall.

The Young Bucks and Adam Cole vs Jurassic Express and Christian
The six man tag team match was kicked off by Christian and Matt Jackson. The crowd was absolutely loving Cole in the ring. The match was going on toe to toe. Cole hit Luchasaurus with the Panama Surise followed by Bucks hitting BTE trigger. Cole followed it up by ending the match vis pinfall.

The Men of the Year vs Chris Jericho and Jake Hager
The tag team match got underway with Jericho and Scorpio Sky in the ring. The match was being controlled by Jericho and Hager before things got a little dirty and Hager was pinned by Sky after Lambert had tripped Hager. Jericho and Hager also attacked the Men of the Year after the match. Upon seeing this several MMA fighters like Paige Van Zant and also Jorge Masvidal surrounded the ring and took out Jericho and Hager.

Hardy Family Office vs Lucha Bros, Santana and Ortiz
The match started with a huge brawl in the ring. All eight men started to attack each other. The match did not last for long as as the team of Lucha Bros and Ortiz proved to be too much for their opponents. Santana ended the match by pinning Quen to get the victory,

Penelope Ford vs Anna Jay
As Ford was making her entrance to the ring she was attacked by Jay. The Bunny also came down the ring side to help out Ford. The Bunny then went on to distract the referee. During this Ford managed to hit Jay with a brass knuckle and got her victory by pinfall.

Suzuki and Lance vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston
This was a lights out match aka no-disqualification match. Moxley and Kingston were not even able to enter the ring when the fight began. Suzuki tied Moxley’s hand behind his back and also continued to beat him. As Moxley was set free he attacked Suzuki while Kingston pinned Archer to get the victory.
Jon Moxley and Kingston defeated Suzuki and Lance by Pinfall.
