AEW Champion Kenny Omega hit out at a fan on Twitter after not taking a liking to one of their comments during a Q&A session.
The conflict arose after Omega asked his fans to pick out the greatest match he’s ever been in. Omega compared his match to the one against Kazuchika Okada in 2018 for NJPW.
When Omega asked his fans for their favourite, one fan harshly said, “F— greatest. When’s the last time you’ve even had a good match? Quit living in the past. What have you done for us lately?”
However, Omega responded straight away citing the successful defense of his AEW World Championship against PAC and Orange Cassidy at AEW Double Or Nothing.
The former NJPW champion is now scheduled to face Jungle Flair for his title at AEW Dynamite.
Omega is also the holder of the AEW World Championship, the AAA Mega Championship, and the Impact World Championship together. He has scaled new heights after signing for Tony Khan’s new promotion.
Omega has also been one of the biggest names in New Japan Pro Wrestling. He was a member of the infamous Bullet Club, where he won various championships along the way.
Lucha Libre AAA announced in May that Omega will face Andrade El Idolo at TripleMania XXIX, on August 14. The venue for the event is Mexico City, Mexico.
Omega has successfully defended his title, having previously defended it against Jack Evans, Dragon Lee, Sammy Guevara and Loredo Kid.
The pair are set to face for the first time in their pro wrestling careers.
The dream match will be eagerly anticipated for all wrestling fans around the globe.
