Adam Cole had words of praise for his girlfriend and AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker
A couple of months ago, Adam Cole was plying his trade in the WWE. He was an integral part of the WWE’s NXT roster.
However, once his contract got over, he moved to WWE’s rivals AEW in September.
On the 5th of September, 2021 Cole made his AEW debut at All Out PPV and has been going strong ever since.
He currently teams up with his old mate Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.
There is also yet another brighter side to Cole joining AEW. He now gets to work alongside his girlfriend Britt Baker who is the current AEW Women’s World Champion.
In a recent exclusive interview with Bleacher Report, Cole revealed what he has learnt from Baker.
Stressing upon how much importance Baker gives to looks ahead of a performance, Cole revealed that he had to add a bit of swagger to his appearance as well – following in the lines of his partner.
Speaking about the same he said:
“Britt always has this top-of-the-line, excellent gear consistently, whether it’s this awesome, flashy new ring jacket, or new gear, and she always looks like a million bucks. And for me, I’ve always been someone that kind of liked the stuff that I wore, but it was more traditional. I am just going to wear some trunks, maybe wear a T-shirt.
Cole added:
“After watching her and seeing how much of a superstar that she looked like, I’m like ‘OK, I think I’m going to get a ring jacket and I’m gonna start changing up my appearance a little bit more.’ I think that’s a huge part of her appeal and her presentation. So watching her kind of develop that habit of getting new stuff all the time is something I’m going to start to implement. And that would not have been in my brain if it wasn’t for Britt.”
In the very same interview with BR, Adam Cole revealed the stars he would like to wrestle with.
He named former WWE Superstar and current AEW big-name CM Punk to be at the top of the list of the wrestlers he would like to face.
Cole said:
“CM Punk is at the top of my list. I’ve been very open and honest about how much he influenced me in my career. He’s a guy who introduced me to Ring of Honor and independent wrestling as a whole. He was the guy who made me realize I really want to focus on promos. I never thought I’d get the chance to step into the ring with him.” [via Bleacher Report]
