Adam Cole is set to face Adam Silver next week on AEW Rampage
Recently, the President of AEW Tony Khan made the announcement that Adam Cole will be facing Adam Silver next week on AEW Rampage. Cole later reacted to the announcement made by Khan on his Twitter where he had a message for all the pro-wrestling fans.
The former WWE Superstar tweeted:
“I’m one of the best to ever do this…guess it’s time I remind pro wrestling fans I’m not playing around…”
Cole is seemingly motivated to prove a point this coming Friday, he made it known that he is one of the best to ever do it and he will remind the same to the pro-wrestling fans the same.
If Cole can get a win over Silver at Rampage, it will certainly be his most prominent victory since his time at AEW. There has been a lot of buzz since the announcement of this match and the fans are looking forward to seeing these two superstars clash in the ring.
Cole and Silver have met once before in the ring but not in a singles match. Their first meeting came earlier this week on Dynamite when the Elite faced off with the Dark Order. It was an eight man tag team match in which Silver picked up a win for his stable when he pinned Matt Jackson.
Apart from this Silver has been taking shots Cole suggesting him to stop wrestling and also to cut his hair. Although this was all fun and games, it will be everything but that when the two square off in the ring.
