Adam Cole is set to team up with Young Bucks
The former WWE star Adam Cole is set to be teaming up with Young Bucks at \AEW Grand Slam. Cole broke out the news on his Twitter handle where he said:
“It’s the biggest week in @AEW history…first time in 5 years teaming w/ @youngbucks”
AEW Grand Slam will mark the company’s debut in New York City. The event will be held at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. Everyone is hyped up and the company is also doing a great job to build the hype around the Grand Slam week.
Cole will be teaming up with his long time friend Young Bucks who performed together more than five years ago. AEW Grand Slam is set to be mega event and AEW will look to make it’s presence heard also in New York City.
It was earlier reported that the real reason that Cole left WWE was because they wanted to give him a managerial role. It seemed like Vince McMahon had some other plans for Cole that he wanted to execute and wanted to make him Keith Lee’s manager at Raw.
However, Cole came out and denied all the rumors of him being offered a managerial role by the WWE ever. And the only reason that he left WWE was because he wanted to end up with AEW.
This move could also have been triggered by the presence of his friends and girlfriend at AEW. Cole will also be making his second in-ring appearance in AEW this weekend. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.
