When will Bray Wyatt make his AEW debut?
Bray Wyatt was released by the WWE on July 31st after being with the company for 11 years. Although nothing has been confirmed on where Wyatt will go next AEW seems to be the most likely destination for the former WWE Champion.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that if Wyatt joins AEW he can make his debut on September 29th. Usually there is a clause of non-compete for 90 days after leaving WWE. But there could possibly be changes as well with the contract.
It is also reported that Wyatt had talks with Impact Wrestling as well. There is no solid info on what will Wyatt do next. The AEW fans however would love Wyatt to join his former colleagues at WWE now working with AEW. It was also reported that the board level members at AEW are confident in signing Wyatt.
Why was Bray Wyatt released from WWE?
Wyatt had a pretty successful career at WWE and his release came in as a bit of a shock to the WWE Universe. He won a WWE Championship, Universal Championship and Tag team championships on both Raw and SmackDown during his time. His Fiend character was also a hit amongst the fans.
Although there has been no confirmation from the WWE on why was Wyatt revealed but it is believed that it was because of the budget cuts. The mega budget cuts from WWE this year have made no sense at all. WWE’s profits have been at a all time high this year. Yet they still are making budget cuts like it’s the opposite.
