AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash episode saw some enthralling moments 

The rivalry between CM Punk and MJF wrote its latest chapter last night on AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash. A huge singles match between two of the top contenders and Malakai Black’s latest attempt at turning the lights out for one of the company’s young comers.

The match card of the episode had some of the most incredible matches and the return of The Vigilante “Sting” and the return of former WWE superstar Kyle O’Reilly.

1.Orange Cassidy takes on Adam Cole.

The show kicked off with the grudge match between Orange Cassidy and Adam Cole. The latter took early control of the match until Freshly Squeezed shoved him off the top rope and scored some consecutive near-falls with a crossbody and tornado DDT.

He suckers Cole in with a rollup moments later for a two count, followed by a Michinoku Driver for another.

In the end, AEW Star Adam Cole defeated Orange Cassidy this week on AEW Dynamite with the help of an old friend, former WWE star Kyle O’Reilly who made sure that Cole won the match as he took out Cassidy to allow the latter to win the game. However, ole, Bobby Fish and O’Reilly stood tall in the ring. As the former Undisputed Era united.

2. Wardlow was in action along with Britt Baker’s Holiday party

AEW star Wardlow once again demolished an unfortunate soul named Capt. Sean Dean. The big man maltreated Dean with four powerbombs to get the one-sided victory.

It was all backstage holiday party of Dr. Britt Baker where Tony Schiavone joined Rebel and Jamie Hayter for a particular party. Baker vowed to defeat Riho for the women’s title at the AEW Battle of Belts on January 8.

3. TBS Championship Semifinal between Ruby Soho vs Nyla Rose

The first woman to cash her ticket to the finals of the TBS Championship, as Ruby Riott battled Nyla Rose, who was also accompanied by the ring by Vickie Guerrero.

The Runaway showed some nasty fights, including damage to her left arm and interference from Vickie Guerrero. However, as Rose scaled the ropes, Riott shifted her weight and pulled her opponent into the Riot Kick for the victory. 

4. Griff Garrison vs Malkai Black

Malakai Black battled the Varsity Blondes “Griff Garrison in singles competition. He was also accompanied by Brian Pillman Jr.

Garrison put up a spirited effort with some hard-hitting strikes from the hometown competitor, but it was just a moment when Black trapped him in a single leg crab to score the submission victory. 

5. The return of Sting in some in-ring action alongside CM Punk and Darby Allin

One of the most iconic matches in recent times saw CM Punk and Darby Allin sporting a faceprint of their iconic tag team partner Sting who made his in-ring appearance after 2 years and battled it out again MJF and FTR in the main event of the night. 

The match saw The Vigilante perform one top rope stunt, making everyone awe the Veteran wrestling legend. After that, he took over FTR on his own.

The Vigilante broke it up and tossed MJF out of the ring at FTR. Punk hit Dax with the GTS. Darby followed it up with a Coffin Drop for the win. It was a great main event to close this week’s AEW Dynamite and a fantastic return for Sting.

It was a perfect ending to the show.
