The Hardy Boys gets a new tag team stable name from AEW
The Hardy Boyz recently made their debut in the All Elite Wrestling, but they can’t use this stable name for the new company since WWE owns their name.
This week, Jeff and Matt Hardy made their debut at AEW Rampage, but they did so under a different stable name. Excalibur referred to the Hardy Boyz as “The Hardy Brothers.” However, on the big screen, it came as “Hardys” It was quite a noticeable change, and obviously, Tony Khan had no issue in obtaining the rights to Hardy’s music, but their name was in the grip of WWE.
Recently debuted AEW superstar Jeff Hardy names his favourite feud of all time
Jeff Hardy recently made his debut at the AEW and was asked if he had an Mt. Rushmore of wrestling at a recent Signed by Superstars virtual meet and greet to which he took the name of several legends of the company like Shawn Michaels and Rey Mysterio.
“Oh yeah,” Hardy said. “Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan.” (H/t Wrestling Inc)
“Probably all TLC matches,” Hardy said. “Solo wise, myself versus The Undertaker for the World Title.”
When asked about his best matches, he was ever involved. He pointed out their numerous TLC matches against Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian.
And when asked about his favorite feud of all time, his answer was with late former WWE Superstar Umaga. They feuded with each other on the WWE Raw brand from 2007 to 2008.
“Favorite feud of all time,” Hardy said. “Yep.”
