This week’s AEW Rampage results saw some returns and tag team action
AEW Rampage saw Trent’s in-ring return as he teamed up with Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy and Rocky Romero to take on The Young Bucks, Adam Cole and Bobby Fish in the tag-team bout.
This action kicked off AEW Rampage and saw both teams go back and forth early on, trading tags. The Young Bucks got pulled out of the ring, and Orange Cassidy tagged Trent in.
Trent came with fire as The Young Bucks, and Adam Cole took down all the three men. He even took out Brandon Cutler at ringside before turning his attack to Nick Johnson.
The finish saw Trent in the ring with Bobby Fish, hit him with a Strong Zero, and pinned him for the win.
Dan Lambert returns and confronts Cody Rhodes on AEW Rampage
Dan Lambert was back of AEW with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. Lambert slammed AEW President Tony Khan for pushing wrestlers like Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara.
Rhodes came in and grabbed the mic from Dan. After some back and forth over the mic, Sky and Page attacked the latter until Dustin Rhodes ran out to save his younger brother, but the numbers were against him.
Guevara also came to even the odds, taking Sky down with a Springboard Cutter before clotheslining Ethan Page off the apron. Rhodes and Guevara will join forces in tag team action to take on Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky.
In some other matches, Tay Conti took on Penelope Ford. Conti put on a great fight and dominated the game throughout and, in the end, got the win by locking Ford with a. Naked choke.
