AEW had its latest pay-per-view last Sunday and garnered rave reviews and reactions from the fans. The event featured some of the most intense and brutal matches seen in recent times.
In the AEW Women’s World title match, Britt Baker retained against Thunder Rosa. The title belt had a completely fresh look to it.
As per reports from Fightful Select, officials reportedly changed the finish to Rosa versus Baker several times in the weeks before the bout.
Rebel and Jamie Hayter interfered in the match and allowed Baker to pin Rosa for the victory. There is no clarity regarding why the finish of the match was changed on multiple occasions.
However, in all likelihood, the company is looking to have a rematch between Baker and Rosa during the St. Patrick’s Day Slam edition of Dynamite next week (March 16). The event will be hosted in San Antonio which is Rosa’s hometown.
We saw Britt Baker flaunting a new title belt at Revolution. The belt has been produced by Belts by Dan.
As per reports, the prestigious belt was made in just three weeks. This is the shortest time they have taken to make a championship belt.
The design was inspired by the Mid-South Wrestling North American Title. According to Dan’s tweet below, the snaps and velcro were “champions’ choice.”
It was also stated on social media that Dan did the plating and painting as well as the leather/snap work. The actual design, however, was done by Andre Dorsey. Dorsey was asked to make the belt look “Mid-South style.”
