Top Fight’s Darius Martin reacts after reportedly getting injured again on AEW Dynamite
AEW Stable Top Fight’s member Darius Martin recently suffered a leg injury and is again out of action as per Fightful. He has been sidelined due to injury for over a year now. Again he is back at it.
The report added that there is no timeframe for his return, and Martin is “expected to miss another lengthy period. Martin took to Twitter and reacted that his injury was not wrestling related.
What I’m currently dealing with had NOTHING to do with wrestling but I’m glad everyone else out there seems to know more about my health than I do
It is to be noted that the earlier reports didn’t specify how Martin suffered a leg injury. However, many fans speculated on social media that the injury occurred during a recent taping of AEW Dark, where Top Fight teamed up with Frankie Kazarian & The Hardys against Private Party Angelico, Max Caster & The Blade in a 10-Man Tag Match.
Darius Martin suffered an injury back in February 2021
To Fight’s Martin suffered torn ACL back in February 2021, which kept him out of action for a long time as he made a comeback in the Casino Tag Team Royale on the March 2, 2022, edition of AEW Dynamite.
Since returning to AEW on March 2, Top Fight worked 5 standard tag team bouts on Elevation and Dark, winning. Their only loss came to The Young Bucks on April 1 of Rampage.
The Top Fight also featured in eight-man action that aired on Monday’s Elevation episode as they teamed with The Hardys to defeat Private Party, Angelico and The Blade.
