AJ Lee makes her comeback on Women of Wrestling
CM Punk made headlines after returning to the wrestling world with AEW. His wife AJ lee made sure to mark a return to the wrestling world herself and made a comeback of her own. Women of Wrestling recently announced that Lee will be the color commentator and also the executive producer when Women of Wrestling relaunches on CBS.
Punk was asked about the same and said (h/t si):
“I’m very excited for her. She’s doing what she wants to do. She’s going to get to write and use her voice to do something that she maybe thought she wouldn’t get the chance to do again. It’s no bumps, and it’s a chance to help foster and grow the next generation of females in wrestling. That’s a perfect, perfect spot for her.”
Punk is seemingly proud of what Lee is doing and feels like it’s the perfect spot for her. Lee will also help to bring up the next generation of female wrestlers in WOW.
What happened in CM Punk vs Daniel Garcia?
Punk faced Daniel Garcia on this week’s AEW Rampage. This was his third match in AEW which was made official after Punk challenged Garcia on Dynamite. The undefeated record of Punk was on the line and Garcia was probably his toughest opponent yet.
Punk rose to the occasion and got the job done. He managed to put Garcia in Anaconda vice which made Garcia tap out. With this punk marked yet another victory in AEW.
