Anthony Bowens shuts down troll with hilarious tweet about his boyfriend
Twitter can be a very mean place when it comes to trolling and spreading hate. But Anthony Bowens has an epic style to take down his haters and trolls.
One fan tweeted out to say, “The Acclaimed looks like guys who’d never buy their girl’s tampons.”
Anthony Bowens had no issue firing back a response at this hater for throwing out that insult, and he only needed two words. He tweeted: “I’m gay”
The tweet got a lot of attention as it was a fantastic way to make a comeback. That troll hasn’t replied as of yet, but Nyla Rose did respond to ask, “Can you buy me some tampons?”
Bowens also shared who his boyfriend was and the YouTube channel for the same.
I guess some people didn't know haha, well here's my boyfriend and I's Youtube channel @michaelpavano https://t.co/WgUZXijj5y

Bowens is a household name if you follow AEW. In November 2016, he suffered a concussion during a match on WWE NXT. In November 2020, All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan announced that Bowens, alongside Max Caster, had been signed to a five-year contract with the promotion.
Last week, inside the ring Bowens vented his frustrations after losing to Jungle Boy at AEW Dynamite. The Acclaimed member also dragged Tony Khan, saying he hated the AEW President. He Tweeted
“JUNGLE BOY CHEATED. I HATE TONY KHAN. BUT EVERYONE STILL LOVES THE ACCLAIMED.”
Bowen has impressed fans with his singles performances. At last week’s AEW Rampage, The Acclaimed member lost a fairly-competitive match against veteran performer Bryan Danielson. It’ll be interesting to see if AEW continues to spotlight Anthony Bowens in singles bouts against marquee stars going forward.
Anthony Bowens comes out as gay!
Bowens came out as bisexual in January 2017 (he now identifies as gay), showing courage and bravery in that decision, and acting as another role model in the world of pro wrestling.
He isn’t the first wrestler to come out as gay either with former WWE star Darren Young also coming out.
