Bobby Fish has challenged the AEW TNT Champion
Former NXT Champion Bobby Fish can well and truly be on his way to join AEW, just like many others in the recent times. After this week’s AEW Dynamite, Fish took to twitter to congratulate the Sammy Guevra who won the TNT Championship just moments before.
Fish also challenged him for the Championship. He said:
“I’d like to congratulate the new TNT Champion @sammyguevara and be the first to challenge him for that title. Ready to walk through the forbidden door!”
Fish’s tweet indicated that he could be joining AEW. The former NXT Champion was released by the WWE back in August and is in the look out for a new promotion. Guverara won the TNT Championship after defeating Miro in the main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite.
While it was first assumed that the Miro will get the opportunity to regain he title in a rematch, it doesn’t look to be the case currently. Shortly after the match Fish called him out and expressed his desire to be the first one to challenge him for the belt. Fish’s demand did not go unnoticed and brought out a reaction from the newly crowned TNT Champion.
What did Sammy Guevara have to say?
During a post match interview, Guevara was asked about his reaction to Fish’s comments. The Spanish God accepted the challenge and invited him to face him next week itself. Though the match has not been confirmed yet and neither the news of Fish joining AEW. It looks more than likely that AEW will be Fish’s next destination.
