AEW star Britt Baker confirmed she had signed a new contract with the company
Britt Baker, AEW’s first female contracted wrestler signed a multi-year contract extension with All Elite Wrestling. She made her debut for the promotion on May 25 at AEW’s inaugural pay-per-view.
AEW’s Women’s Champion is assured of holding the top spot in the company’s women’s division. Reports suggest that the contract could be three-years in length. However, AEW’s resident dentist disclosed about her a multi-year contract extension with AEW.
AEW has ensured that Baker will be in the company for years to come with a tweet:
“.@RealBrittBaker holds all the cards in her new contract negotation. She gets @jmehytr & @RebelTanea into Sunday’s Casino Battle Royale & gets them a 2-on-1 handicap match against @callmekrisstat this Friday on #AEWRampage! Tune in to @tntdrama NOW to watch #AEWDynamite!”
Baker teased information about a big “free agent signing,” which made the fans think of Adam Cole, who is a free agent now.
Cole could be joining AEW in the future. The former WWE NXT superstar was the longest reigning NXT champion, and Cole will take the company to new heights if he ends up in AEW.
Also, Cole’s partner Baker mentioned that she will be happy for him no matter what he decides to do.
Cole is one of the biggest free agents in the wrestling world, and it will be interesting to see what he does next.
