Jon Moxley defends his title against Brodie Lee at AEW Double or Nothing
AEW Double or Nothing is just a couple of days away, and Brodie Lee has already started the mind games against Jon Moxley.
The Exalted One stole Moxley’s AEW World Heavyweight title a couple of weeks back, and has not given it back to the champion.
Moxley accepted Lee’s challenge for the title but has been at the receiving end of some beat downs. However, the champion destroyed No.10 of the Dark Order on Dynamite and sent a message to Lee.
The Exalted One has often spoken about possession being 9/10th’s of the law, but he teased the result of his clash.
Lee posted a picture of himself with the belt hinting he could be the rightful owner after Double or Nothing.
Moxley has beaten most of the top stars since winning the belt. However, this is going to be a different challenge.
Lee has been exceptional since making his AEW debut, and he could use some of his Dark Order followers during this clash.
The former Wyatt Family member has also cut some brilliant promos in recent weeks, something we didn’t see much during his time in WWE.
The coronavirus pandemic had curtailed a lot of wrestling action with many pre taped shows. However, Double or Nothing has several huge clashes which should intrigue wrestling fans.
Nyla Rose, the women’s champion, takes on Hikaru Shida in a No DQ match. The Inner Circle and Matt Hardy face off against the Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede match.
Cody Rhodes also clashes against nemesis Lance Archer, and this is for the AEW TNT Championship match.
AEW has been beating NXT in the ratings in recent weeks, and this PPV has all the ingredients to be special.
