AEW Rampage saw a frightening scene as Bryan Danielson suffered a leg injury after he got caught between the ring and the rampway for a few minutes. He was eventually helped out of the predicament.
Bryan Danielson is one of the most accomplished modern-day wrestlers and is currently a part of the Blackpool Combat Club stable involving Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta.
The incident took place during this week’s AEW Rampage tapings. Danielson and Moxley wrestled Dante Martin and Matt Sydal in a tag team match. After the encounter, the Blackpool Combat Club members were involved in a segment with the Jericho Appreciation Society.
During the scuffle with Chris Jericho and his stablemates, Danielson got stuck. The AEW medical personnel rescued him.
Everyone was quite concerned for the pro-wrestling legend. Danielson was stuck for almost ten minutes. Fans sent their good thought via Twitter after the incident took place.
According to Bryan Alvarez on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, the painful-looking leg injury of Bryan Danielson was a work.
It is believed that everybody involved during the segment played along and this was Danielson’s idea. The former WWE Superstar walked back all by himself. He even gave a thumbs up to Eddie Kingston while making his way back.
The good news is that Danielson is apparently fine and this will come as a huge relief for his many fans. We are yet to receive an update from Danielson or AEW regarding the former’s leg as yet.
AEW earlier teased the Big 5 on 5 match for Double or Nothing on Dynamite. Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker & Matt Menard confronted BCC’s Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, and William Regal, as well as Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz.
