Bryan Danielson is now with AEW while his wife still has WWE roots
Bryan Danielson, who spent the 11 years of his 21-year career with WWE, made his debut appearance for All Elite Wrestling at All Out on Sept 5, which became one of the biggest free-agent signings in recent time.
His wife, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella, reacted to his move to AEW from WWE.
Since Brie has still ties with WWE, Bryan’s decision could have impacted her wife’s career. But it didn’t and also said that her wife is very supportive of the decision.
While speaking to Bleacher Report, Bryan mentioned that Brie just wanted him to be happy. He even said that Brie told about supporting him 100%, so there was no pressure on him.
“Brie’s great. She literally just wanted me to be happy.
“She was always like ‘Hey, whatever you decide, I want to 100 percent support you.’ So there was never any pressure from her being like ‘Hey, this might affect Total Bellas‘ or anything like that. She never wants to even talk about that. She was like ‘I just want you to be happy.’ And so I’m a fortunate man to have such a supportive wife.”
Bryan’s AEW debut came on the same night when CM Punk also made his fantastic debut against Darby Allin, and also former WWE star Ruby Soho also made her in-ring debut. The night turned out to be very big for all the AEW fans.
Bryan Danielson faced Kenny Omega on his AEW debut
Danielson made his debut against AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. When Bryan made his first appearance in AEW, he interrupted Kenny Omega, and that’s when their segment started off.
Next week on AEW Dynamite, the two again squared off in the squared circle. Bryan will face Kenny Omega in the AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam Show.
