Samuray del Sol posted a tweet for the late Jon Huber but made one error in spelling the star’s name
Kalisto made his AEW debut under the Samuray del Sol name as he battled for the Lucha Libre AAA tag titles.
Del Sol teamed up with Mexican star Aero Star as they took on FTR in an incredible match. While the new AEW team put on a great show, they were unable to get the gold.
Nevertheless, it was great seeing Kalisto get back to wrestling after his WWE release, but the former WWE star had some kind words for Jon Huber.
Huber, who passed away in 2020 due to a lung disease, was taken away from the wrestling world far too soon.
His memories have lived on with many stars sharing great stories about Brodie Lee, and Del Sol also posted about this on social media.
However, he made a minor error in spelling Jon’s name. Some AEW fans shared their thoughts on this but veteran wrestler Chris Jericho also took offence to this.
Le Champion also tweeted his thoughts regarding the same and brought up that the spelling was incorrect.
Posting on social media is a big risk given that there are thousands looking to correct even minor errors.
Del Sol was quick to respond to Jericho as he claimed that his “emotions” got the better of him.
Such things happen, especially on social media, and Del Sol did post a heartfelt message for the fallen star.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see what else is on the plate for Del Sol after joining AEW. The pair lost to FTR thanks to some cheating by the champions, and Del Sol could also have a decent run on AEW.
Further, he will be able to perform on other promotions too, and we should see more of the high-flying star in the coming weeks.
