Jim Ross called AEW Dynamite as WWE Dynamite and that botch had the wrestling world talking

Jim Ross certainly got a lot of people talking after his WWE Dynamite botch on live TV.

The veteran wrestling commentator was speaking about buying tickets for AEW Dynamite but got the promotions mixed up on live TV.

Many fans were quick to call out JR with some making fun of the legend. However, it is easy to make such errors on the air, especially for someone like JR.

He was with WWE for a few decades and well, AEW is a fairly new promotion. Nevertheless, JR apologised for his mistake and had the backing of many others as well.

The legend also had the backing of another great in the business, Chris Jericho. The former WWE champion moved to AEW in one of the earliest switches between the companies.

Jericho won the AEW title here as well and proclaimed, in his support for JR, that his co-commentator was the best to have ever graced the business.

Of course, there were many that backed Jericho, but some fans wanted less of JR doing the job and more of others taking over.

Jim Ross is one of the greatest ever

JR might be making an error here or there but there is no doubting his legacy. He has called some of the greatest wrestling matches in the history of the business, and he still is doing a great job.

However, AEW has many other commentators too with Jericho also donning the role. Taz, another former WWE star, also does a great job on the desk but he too has had some hilarious moments during his time with the company.

It is great seeing many back JR for the minor error he made. AEW vs WWE is still going strong but there is no chance we will ever see a WWE Dynamite show ever.
