Chris Jericho has a fitting reply to NBA fans who body shamed him last week

Former WWE and current AEW wrestling legend Chris Jericho was at the receiving end of a bunch of tweets by NBA fans that body-shamed him.

Jericho and MJF fought Top Flight in the first match of the Holiday Bash special on last week’s Dynamite. That match was right after an NBA match, which led many basketball fans to stick around and what the episode.

The result was a barrage of tweets from the viewers who mocked Jericho for gaining weight. Many of them had seen him for the first time since his WWE days and were shocked to see him put on weight.

This led to wrestling fans coming to his defence, and Jericho himself saying that he wasn’t affected by it. Nevertheless, it’s unlike Y2J to let go of a chance to fire back at his doubters.

Chris Jericho posts, then deletes tweet meant to fire back at NBA fans

Jericho posted a ripped photo of himself in the early hours of Tuesday. The tweet saw him looking ‘ripped’ and had the official NBA Twitter account tagged in it.

It was clearly meant as a way to fire back at NBA fans who body-shamed him. However, the tweet, which included the hashtag ‘FatJericho’, was deleted shortly after it was posted.

Maybe Jericho realized that it could come across as petty. Or, he just did not want to be at the receiving end of a Twitter barrage from trolls again.

Whatever the reason behind it, the 50-year-old former WWE World Heavyweight Champion does not have anything left to prove to anyone.

Wrestling for over 30 years, Jericho has come, seen, and conquered everything in sight. And at the age of 50, he is definitely in much better shape than most professional athletes at that age.
