AEW Star CM Punk shows some John Cena moves at Full Gear
AEW Full Gear saw CM Punk in action for the second time since his return to pro wrestling in a PPV. He went one on one with Eddie Kingston in some intense blood-wrenching bout.
However, Punk might have mocked WWE Superstar John Cena, his old rival, as he performed Cena’s signature sequence of running shoulder blocks followed by a side slam.
Punk teased the five knuckle shuffle but didn’t go through it thoroughly. A Few months back, Cena spoke about Punk’s return to pro wrestling when he posted a picture of Punk blowing a kiss to Vince McMahon after Money in the Bank 2011.
The Best in the World won this match in the end with a GTS and dedicated this match to the memory of Eddie Guerrero, who passed away exactly 16 years ago.
Sean Ross Sapp has some interesting comments about CM Punk mocking Cena
Punk won his bout against Kingston at AEW Full gear, and Sean Ross Sapp of fightful.com had some interesting take from the match, especially Punk’s mockery of Cena.
Sapp took to Twitter and mentioned Punk and Kingston match up. He said that this match has been built up for three weeks, and it is going to be a HOT one for all the fans. Sapp also mentioned the look of Punk’s face while doing the five knuckle shuffle.
That ruled. CM Punk can read a room. Eddie Kingston is a master
Sapp also had another bit from Punk where the AEW star claimed he just liked to mess with people.
