Cody Rhodes is the current TNT Champion and had one remark to make about an AEW title

TNT Champion Cody Rhodes has been doing his bit to ensure his title bouts are some of the best not only on AEW but in the world of professional wrestling.

Cody has defended his TNT title several times against relatively smaller talents. This has become a staple of AEW Dynamite with Cody not shying away from getting into close fights.

He has taken on all comers and defeated most of them. The American Nightmare did lose the TNT title to Brodie Lee but won that right back recently.

Cody then put it on the line against Orange Cassidy and the pair certainly brought the house down. Cassidy vs Cody didn’t have a winner due to the time limit but both men pushed each other.

This is a regular feature of Cody’s matches and the former WWE star claimed that his TNT title is the most important one in the wrestling business.

The TNT title isn’t much of a looker but that shouldn’t be a reason to not like it. AEW does have a talented roster and having another belt to fight for is great exposure for them.

Brian Cage holds the FTW title, which Taz brought back from retirement. However, Jon Moxley holds the main AEW title and he doesn’t seem likely to lose that anytime soon.
